Feedback- The Moment of Truth

Course Description

Feedback is communication so expect misunderstanding and differing interpretations. Without learning we cannot live. Without feedback we cannot learn. Learning is the key to individual and organization excellence. Without feedback, learning from our experience is stymied (stopped). Feedback is essential in communication so as to know whether the recipient has understood the message in the same terms as intended by the sender and whether he agrees to that message or not. Feedback enables you to evaluate the effectiveness of your message. Giving your audience a chance to provide feedback is crucial for maintaining an open communication climate. Managers must create an environment that encourages feedback. It can be both positive and negative. Done well, feedback is an excellent tool for learning.
